Some extensions can no longer be downloaded RRS feed

  • Hi Thaelmann-Pioniere, my understanding is:

    • Current available extensions are managed with Small Basic Prime [Advanced] [Extension Manager] feature.
    • Some extensions are only available for SB 1.1.
    • It's difficult to maintain extensions by other person instead of the author.
    • Open source extensions may be recompiled for newer SB by someone.

    • ld xtension covers over 95% of all needs
    • fc xtension also works well
    • i/o xtension is updated for sb 1.2 and also works fine:
    ss=LDText.Split("3 14 1 41 5 92 65 36" " ")
    TextWindow.WriteLine( IOAlgorithms.BubbleSort(ss))

  • Hello Nonki,

Thank you! Using Small Basic Prime and Extension Manager is a very good choice. And a suggest: could you please revise that article? Maybe add the content about Extension Manager. And the introduction of extensions is very important too.

Best Regards & Thanks a lot!

  • LD should be a standard feature in future SB editions.

Maybe it will not be Small anymore, but EnhancedSB :))

I'm a bit disappointed with I/O xtension bcs it has many bugs and not working features for now :((

  • Hi Tryhest,

Really? How to do it? That's great!

How can litdev extension "help students transition from block-based coding to text-based coding"?

    And what's Desktop2?

    Best Regards!

    • blocks is used in micro-bit boards programming for easy java usage
    • sb is already translated to java environment (corean version) and very fast
    • so is just matter of linking those 2 in one solution :))
