mirroring when not using playerindex RRS feed

  • I am generating a 3D mesh by combining the depth and video stream.. For some reason I am getting a strange mirroring effect when I don't use the player index.

    Using PlayerIndex

    Not Using PlayerIndex


    my depth stream is 320x240

    video stream 640x480

    and I am not using skeleton tracking


    I think it is a problem with NuiImageGetColorPixelCoordinatesFromDepthPixel() since the video stream is not mirrored

  • That's true, the mirroring is different for the depth stream when you are not using player index. In fact, the video stream is always mirrored, but the depth stream will only be mirrored when the PlayIndex is used. Therefore if you use the depth stream without player index, you are matching the mirrored video stream to the un-mirrored depth stream. I'm also facing this problem, so I add something after getting color pixel from depth pixel to fix the mirroring issue.
