Package Enterprise Windows Phone 8.1 app with Dependencies (WinJS and VCLibs) RRS feed

  • Hello.

I am trying to distribute a Cordova Windows Phone 8.1 app via an MDM (AirWatch.)  I got the Symantec cert and therefore the AET.  I used VS2015 to build the initial APPX and then used BuildMDILAPPX.ps1 to re-package and sign.  All fine.

When uploading the APPX to the MDM I got error message about 2 missing dependencies, being WinJS and VCLibs.  They are declared in AppxManifest.xml and the WP app does need them.  I see there are Microsoft.Phone.WinJS.2.1.appx and Microsoft.VCLibs.ARM.12.00.Phone.appx but uploading them to the MDM does not seem to help.

I saw a couple of posts online that I need to re-inject the WinJS javascripts into the actual app, but what can I do with the VCLibs? VCLibs are DLLs.  Do I just include them in the app root and they will get picked up automatically?

Has anyone experienced this?  Any alternatives please?
