If you observe the ping output, it says "Reply from fe80::3d00:a19f:32b5:5c52%18..." which is the link-local IPv6 address of a virtual adapter. My question is, what should I do to ensure that I get reply from my Ethernet adapter? The IPv4 address of my physical ethernet adapter is 172.26.82.152. Shouldn't I get reply from this instead of virtual adapter? I've VMware installed on this machine. I tried changing the binding order and as you notice, ethernet adapter is the first on the list in ipconfig /all output.  Please help. Thanks.
