I have the clubsite website hosted on one domain and the user authenication works fine.  When I use a redirect with a mask of another domain the authenication fails.  What causes this and is there a solution?

I have done some further investigating and found that the problems arises from Internet Explorer Privacy.    The IE browser doesn't accept or treat the asp.net 2.0 authentication cookie as friendly.  The browser will accept the cookie when you complete the following steps.    In the user's IE Browser  Tools>>Internet Options>>Privacy>>Sites>>   enter the websites domain name (the originating)   then click >> Always Allow and Okay.    If anyone knows of a process using ASP.net 2.0   It would be greatly appreciated.  This is beyond my skills.

I have this issue as well, does anyone know a way of changing the path value of the cookie? If i can set it to the same as the referring domain name then I should be laughing.
