  • Hi MG_SSNC,

    According your description, whether this issue happed when create a new project or only happened open an old project?

    If this problem appears when create a new project, please repair VS with the following steps:

    click start->control panel-> programs and features->right-click Microsoft Visual Studio VS 2015->change->Repair.

    If this issue happened when open an old project, please refer to the following steps:

    1). it may be caused by automatic download of missing packages with NuGet. So please uninstall the NuGet and reinstall it.

    2). Have you install any windows update or any extension in VS 2015 recently?

    If yes, please open the Developer Command Prompt for VS, and then type command: devenv /safemode

    3). You could start VS in safe mode (devenv /SafeMode), which could prevent all third-party VSPackages from loading when Visual Studio starts, thus ensuring stable execution.

    4). Please view the all logs of applications in out machine. Please refer to the following steps:

    Click Start->Right-click This PC->More->Manage->System Tools->Event Viewer->double-click Application

    Then all logs of applications are displayed in list box. Please view whether has logs of Visual Studio.

    Best Regards,

    Oscar
