How to add "Cache-Control:public,max-age=604800" to image response header RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear Sir,

I am using cdn service by setting up Endpoint Hostname A with Origin Hostname B.

I'm trying to setup a cache control in the image response header but no luck found no option to alter.

Would you please point me a way to accomplish this, many thanks.

  • If you want to edit this on the CDN, you must be using a Verizon Premium sku.

In the Azure Portal for the profile, click 'Manage' on the top bar of the blade.

  • Hello can you be more specific? All I can see is the Force Internal Max Age which only shows 'Cache-Control:max-age=72000' in the browser inspect element. How to assign the 'public'?

  • Cache-Control: public has no effect on the CDN.

Do you have other intermediate caches that you need this to be effective for? In that case you may need to add Cache-Control: public on the origin instead. Otherwise, you may not need to include it.
