Old Asp.net 1.1 system RRS feed

We have an old asp.net system that was developed years ago in .net 1.1. It was upgraded using VS2005 some years later but has been chugging along ever since. We now need to make a few changes to the system, most likely to some html. We are afraid the system may fall over if we do to much with it, just wondering what the advice on here would be?

    Thanks.

Make a backup before making any changes.

The oldest version of VS we have is VS2010 so just wondering would I be able to open it using that or would that make changes to it if I use VS2010.

The only way to find out is to try.  The solution/project files are a little different.  As long as you have a back up you should be fine.
