Javascript Framework replacement RRS feed

    Hello,

I have been tasked with finding a front-end replacement for several web apps that use ExtJS and a MVC 4.0 back-end. The front-ends were developed with a few different versions of ExtJS (4.x and 5.x) by a developer who no longer works for the company. I am all that is left of the development team and I haven't developed a web application using any of the JS frameworks other than jQuery and that's been a couple years. With the new versions of C#, MVC, .Net, etc being released recently, what advice do you have to offer?

    Hi CodingKidd,

That depends on your business . Since you are using ExtJS before , you could try AngularJS  ,ExtJS and AngularJS are the two industry leading frameworks for Rich UI development , please refer to below link for differences between ExtJS and AngularJS :

if I was porting from ExtJS, a component based framework, I'd probably pick React which is also a component based system. see:

       https://facebook.github.io/react/

Visual Studio supports editing and compiling the .jsx files used in react. also visual studio has full TypeScript support for React, but you can also use babel and es2015.

I'd also use redux.js for react state management.
