The problem with DirectX 11 when starting the project in VS 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I'm having a problem with running a project that needs DirectX 11, I have 12 installed.
When you run a demo project from the book "Introduction to 3D programming games with Direct3D 11.0" the one that is before the first section.
When I run the project in VS 2010 the error "Direct3D level 11 is not supported.
    How to solve this problem?

Well, I solved the problem well) thanks for the advice, for those who suddenly will have the same problem with the directive from this book, you need to do the following.
    1. Verify that the video card on which the project will be launched supports the version of the directive.
    2. Do everything according to the instructions from the book, and also use software like in the book, iron is not necessary.
    3. In the book in the example there is a file that you need to add to the project, before adding them, copy them to the directory of the created project in VS 2010 is VERY important.

And if you have two video card, set default video card which have DX11.

That's all here is the result of the demo:
