Manage responses to mails RRS feed

  • Hi all,

    I'm developing an application that will send emails and then have to make the treatment responses.

    I can create a dedicated mailbox.

    The first question is how to format the messages in a way that the recipients answer correctly to the correct address.

    The second is, for each record in a Access table the application has to send a message, the thing is how is the best way to match answers with the table records.

    I know how to handle Outlook messages, how to read the content of them, how to create msg type files with it, how to store them in a ole field, and so on...

    My idea is to create a hidden tag and read it in the answer message to make the match. But I'm not very sure that will work.

    Has someone made somehing like this that can share? Or has experience to manage response mails with VBA obviously...

    The ideally would be to send a message with a form with buttons/checkbox that the recipients would click to answer but that I don't know how to do, and if it's possible with VBA/Access/MsOutlook.

     Any hints/ideas will be apreciated.

    thanks for the reply.

    I've come to the conclusion that what I need  is something like the Manage Replies from the Access but embebed in my code....

    I have to write lot's of to customize it... that's life :(
