The meaning of Generic Events-summary table - tcpip- time(s) RRS feed

  • Question

  • hi,

Any one can explain the meaning of Time(s) in this graph? If it is the duration for one send operation , I think it is too long, and at the end of the process, it will reach about 200s. I don't know how to explain this , is there any document about it ?

  • could be that the timers start at the same time.

Not sure if this is a good analogy but I'll give a try:

Let's say you and your friends goto to your local bar after winning soccer tournament.

You order 11 beers ... and that point the clock starts on each beer aka 'send'.

if the bartender is really good he/she will get 11 beers out of the fridge and then flip the lid real quick

and then send will be complete.   since each timer is elapsed from time 0 ... you would see that the sends

add up to more time then exactly elapsed.... to see if that is true ... you would need to see if time start and ends for each.

if he/she had to pour each beer ... then the elapsed time would be in serial terms ..which would make the aggregate work out.

  • You mean the time(s) start at the same time?

How can I get the start time and ends time?
