Hello!

I would like to know what is Self Hosted Applications.

I searched for it in Bing and other websites but I found nothing including in Microsoft websites. Could you explain to me?

Hi claudiogc,

You might know IIS hosting, self-hosting is also a hosting option that provides a flexible, lightweight host for application/service. Different from IIS hosting, in your self-hosting application/service, you may need to control service staring/stopping, error handling and logging by yourself.

I believe the OP was asking about "Self Hosted Applications", not self hosting.  It has a specific meaning in the links I provided.
