Win8 support for touch and non touch monitors on same system

    Question

  • For systems with both touch and non touch minitors...

When the Metro touch interface loads can it be set only to show up on the touch screen? How will windows 8 handle setups of both touch and "display only" monitors?

  • Just to be sure I understand your issue, you are talking about a situation you were using multiple monitors where one is a Touch Screen and the other is a Non-Touch screen.

Currently, the Metro apps are going to be on the primary monitor or wherever the Start Screen is targeted. However, you can move between start screen using the Windows Key+PG-Down to swap between the displays.  You can also swipe from the left-edge to the right of the target monitor to switch between desktops.
