How is vWAN highly available and resilient? RRS feed

  • Question

  • How is vWAN resilient? If a datacenter (or situation b:a region) goes down, and the hub in that region is knocked offline, how do branch offices maintain connectivity?

  • It's no more resilient than a virtual network gateway, but does allow greater scale.

Your virtual wan device could connect to multiple hubs for resiliency.

  • Hi,

As of today, VWAN are regional service and when you deploy a HUB, at-least 2 instances will be created for providing high availability. VWAN doesn't have Availability Zone support yet and once it supported, you will get even better resiliency.
