Enterprise Library 4.0 - Configuration settings and XML Serializer

Hi,

One of the great things in the previous verion of Enterprise Library was putting your settings  in an XML file and serialzing them. (http://codebetter.com/blogs/david.hayden/pages/56520.aspx)

I'm trying to do this in V 4.0, but for the life of me, I cannot see how to do it.  The terminology has slightly changed, and there seems to be no option for serialization.

Is this no longer supported?

Hi,
The post of David Hayden shows how to put settings in a config file in Ent-Lib 2.0 and the Configuration Application Block.
In the versions of 3.0 and 4.0 of Ent-Lib the configuration application block is not available for the serializtion part you indicate.
The configuration parts where inserted to the core of the .Net framework and you can do the things you want using the System.Configuration namespace.
