We have a WCF Web Service running on a server. The App Pool Idle Time-out is set to 20 minutes. However, the web service throws a timeout exception at 5 minutes.
I know that it is not best practice for a web service to run this long, but it some cases it cannot be avoided.
It seems that the Network is closing the connection at 5 minutes thinking that it has been idle for this amount of time.
I know there is a setting for this - but I can't seem to find it.
Any ideas?
