How to create a StoreManifest.xml file. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

    I am creating a StoreManifest.xml file, I go through link http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/jj730527.aspx

    which suggest two type of Xml schema one is for device experience and other is for Opting out of exclusivity and pre-installation.

    Can we combine these two schema? i.e.

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <StoreManifest
      xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
      xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="StoreManifest.xsd"
      xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/appx/2010/StoreManifest">

      <ProductFeatures>
        <DeviceCompanionApplication>
          <ExperienceIds>
            <ExperienceId>29117a93-6383-44bb-bd4c-c48aafc5f2d9</ExperienceId>
          </ExperienceIds>
        </DeviceCompanionApplication>

        <ExclusiveOptOut>false</ExclusiveOptOut>
        <PreinstallOptOut>false</PreinstallOptOut>
      </ProductFeatures>

    </StoreManifest>

    I am not sure it is a valid schema or not. This mobile broadband application is for OEM.

    I want to be make sure that my app should not be fail because of this. Please confirm.

    Thanks,

    Vipin
