Navigation problems RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am having issues when navigating to one of my pages. My basic setup is in the default.html I have two buttons at the top which will navigate to two different pages. For the page in question, I have a div element in the .html file. In the .js file, I am using the innerHTML property to add html elements to the div element. I call the function by adding onload function to the html body tag. This page works correctly the first time, but when I am on the page and click the button to go to the same page all that is shown is the initial div element, but not what was changed by the .js file. Is the function simply not re-called by the onload?

  • Hi,

    I had the same issue...

    Try to use the following code instead of the body onload

    WinJS.UI.Pages.define("/options.html", {
       ready: function (element, options) {
           // put your code here

    The best is still to come ;)
