Azure Portal Pricing Vs. Azure Calculator

Hi,

I am just wondering which one to believe and plan for.

I am looking at the prices using Azure calculator and the price for Standard(S2) App Service is 185.96$ for a month.

I look at the price under the Scale Up section of my app service the same Standard (S2) is showing 113.68$.

Anyone knows what the reason is.

Hi b3hdad,

As far as I know, different location of the web app will cause the price of that web app is not same.

I suggest you could firstly check the location of the web app in the Azure calculator to make sure the your portal's web app pricing is as same as the Azure calculator's.

Like below:

From protal: 

Notice: This pricing is the estimated value.

From the Azure calculator:

They are almost same.

Hi Brando,

Thank you for your reply. I had already checked that and that is not the reason. It may be due to the subscription type.

Yes, this may related with the subscription type.

Could you please tell me which subscription type you have used now?

Besides, I suggest you could connect to the azure support team to ask for reason.
