FileSavePicker in Windows Phone 8.1 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

    Universal application. I have not problems with Windows version but I do not know how to use FileSavePicker for Windows Phone 8.1 application.

    Next scenario:

    1) I need to open image file from my phone (or storage).

    For this I used next code:

    public void OpenImage()
            {
                FileOpenPicker filePicker = new FileOpenPicker();
                filePicker.SuggestedStartLocation = PickerLocationId.PicturesLibrary;
                filePicker.ViewMode = PickerViewMode.Thumbnail;
                filePicker.FileTypeFilter.Clear();
                filePicker.FileTypeFilter.Add(".bmp");
                filePicker.FileTypeFilter.Add(".png");
                filePicker.FileTypeFilter.Add(".jpeg");
                filePicker.FileTypeFilter.Add(".jpg");

                filePicker.PickSingleFileAndContinue();
                view.Activated += PickerViewActivated;
            }

    private async void PickerViewActivated(CoreApplicationView sender, IActivatedEventArgs argParameters)
            {
                FileOpenPickerContinuationEventArgs args = argParameters as FileOpenPickerContinuationEventArgs;
                if (args != null)
                {
                    //any of actions with this image
                }
            }

    2) After some configurations I need to save this file back to phone.

    How can I do it?

    How to use FileSavePicker in Windows Phone 8.1?

    Is it also should be like a "Continue" method?

    I could not find any examples about it.

    Please help me.
