MouseWheel Confusion on Navigation Form RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm having some small accessibility issues with Access development.

I've designed an interface for all my front end use with a navigation form template. This includes both forms and reports using several (as in 21) different navigation buttons.

I'm a little confused about how the scroll wheel is functioning. I've found several articles about people complaining how they can't scroll in a form until it has focus, but I'm not experiencing this.

It seems that no matter what has focus whenever I use the mousewheel the bottom left of my page is instantenously saying "Formatting Page. Press CTRL+BREAK to Stop" Movement ONLY occurs within the main navigation form and nowhere else, no matter what has focus. I should point out that this message is ONLY displayed as the mousewheel is being moved. As soon as I stop scrolling the message can no longer be seen. Can anyone shed some light into this particular message Access is giving me?

The scrolling with scroll bars works fine within the navigation form, and whenever I open any of these reports or forms outside of my main navigation form, the mousewheel seems to be working correctly.

Any insights would be appreciated and I would be happy to clarify particular questions.
