Hi, I'm using FirebaseStorage to store and display images in my Xamarin project.

It work's fine in Android, but not in iOS...

    XAML: <Image x:Name="Image" Aspect="AspectFit" HeightRequest="250"/>

    C#: Image.Source = product.ImageURL; ` product.ImageURL is an string containing the https URL* ...

Has anyone an idea why the image isn't showing up in iOS?

    Best Regards, F.

Hi, the problem disappeared by updating Xamarin.Forms NuGet Package from version 4.4 to 4.7 and now it works fine :) Thx again for your support @LandLu

You mentioned that the URL is a https one so there's no need to add extra settings to make it work on iOS. Try a sample image source on the internet such as this one: https://file-examples.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/fileexamplePNG_500kB.png Can it be shown on iOS on your side? It may need some time to load the image so please wait a minute to see the result.

    Hi LandLu,

thx for your quick response, unfortunately it didn't worked, even with your sample. Same problem remains, your sample showed up in Android, but not in iOS, even after some minutes.

Could you offer your sample here? It runs properly on my side. Which device do you run it on? Try to change other devices and networks to have a test.

I'm testing it on a iPhone7 (iOS 13.5.1, physical device) and iPhone8 (iOS 13.5, emulator). Android devices work fine, physical and emulations.

The code I previously posted is pretty much it... Don't think it's a code issue since it works fine on your device and Android. Maybe I miss some settings in the Info.plist or Entitlements.plist?
