Anyway to show video's internal caption while playing the video?

Hi all,

I'm building an app to play some video that include some internal caption track but can't find a way to turn on its caption.
I've tried player framework and found out that it can't do what I want yet (according to this thread: https://playerframework.codeplex.com/discussions/451168).

Anyway to do that? Sorry for my bad English.

Hello,

Just as discussed in the thread https://playerframework.codeplex.com/discussions/451168, HTML5 & the video tag do not expose internal caption information the way it does with audio tracks， as a workaround, you have to write a  separate, external caption files that contain your caption information for video to access.
