New blog series up on custom UIA providers RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • I wanted to note that I've put together a blog series on writing custom UIA providers over the past few months.  It's up at our UI Automation blog: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/winuiautomation/.  My goal was to walk step by step through the creation of a UIA provider, in case you are building custom controls and might need to do this.  I also published samples for each post that are available for use under the Microsoft Public License.

There are six parts to it; here's part 1:

I built the samples in C#, but they are not specific to managed code: the same techniques could be used in native code.  If you have questions on the posts or samples, you can certainly post comments either to the blog or to this forum.

    Thanks,
    Michael
