  • I'm not quite sure where to send you for this, it is obviously not Visio (or even closely related) issue. It sounds like you've applied a .Net service pack which has changed the system files. I'd probably start by seeing if it still compiles which would bring it into a visual studio set of issues.

  • Hi,

    Have you done some update for the visual studio. Or the visual studio has done some automatic update which cause your service do not work. So please try to check your recent update.

    Then please try to enable the wcf tracing to find the root cause.

    The following configuration taken from MSDN can be applied to enable tracing on your WCF service.

    <configuration>
      <system.diagnostics>
        <sources>
          <source name="System.ServiceModel"
                  switchValue="Information, ActivityTracing"
                  propagateActivity="true" >
            <listeners>
                 <add name="xml"/>
            </listeners>
          </source>
          <source name="System.ServiceModel.MessageLogging">
            <listeners>
                <add name="xml"/>
            </listeners>
          </source>
          <source name="myUserTraceSource"
                  switchValue="Information, ActivityTracing">
            <listeners>
                <add name="xml"/>
            </listeners>
          </source>
        </sources>
        <sharedListeners>
            <add name="xml"
                 type="System.Diagnostics.XmlWriterTraceListener"
                 initializeData="Error.svclog" />
        </sharedListeners>
      </system.diagnostics>
    </configuration>
