Cannot use Windows Phone SDK RC on Windows Developer Preview - Application Deployment does not work RRS feed

    Hi,

    I love the Windows Developer Preview and I love the Metro UI, but I can't use Windows Phone SDK on it. Visual Studio runs fine and I can develop my apps fine, but I can't deploy them to emulator nor to a real device. Visual Studio does not give any errors (The list where should be Debug in Windows Phone Emulator and Windows Phone Device is empty), but the Application Deployment app does give an error. I have binged but can't find solutions for it. I have latest updates from Windows Update and I have tried reinstalling the WP7.1 SDK many times. Error attached.

    I'm sorry, but at this time, Windows Phone tools is not currently supported on Windows 8. I don't know of any workaround.
