Word 2013 Mailmerge with .dbf

Question

Does Word 2013 support mailmerge with with the data source being dbf?

Is there a link of what options are supported?

Hi,

The data source can’t be in a supported dBase III or dBase IV (.dbf) database file type for the mail-merge.

To work around this issue, save the database file as either of the following file types:

• Text and Tabs (*.txt)
• Text and Comma (*.csv)
