How do I install SignalR 2.4.1 in ASP.NET Core? RRS feed

I was following this quickstart, which shows how to install SignalR in an ASP.NET Core web site via the "Add client-side library" feature of VS. However, that shows how to install version 1.x, and no matter what I try to enter in the Library textbox, I either get offered versions up to 1.1.4, but no further, or it doesn't show me anything at all.

However, Nuget shows that the latest version of Microsoft.AspNet.SignalR.Core is 2.4.1.

I tried using the Nuget package manager in VS, but this only modified the project file, but didn't actually any any JavaScript files, which is what I need.

Anyone any idea how I add the latest version of SignalR to my web site?

    Thanks

You are confusing the server side version with the client side version.

Ah, so the latest client-side is 1.1.4?

    Makes sense, thanks.

so the latest client-side is 1.1.4?

Currently, the latest version is 1.1.4 and we can find the Version History from https://www.npmjs.com/package/@aspnet/signalr
