get the last clicked location on the powerpoint slide RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there,

    I'm creating a macro and would like to know how to get the last clicked location on the slide using vb.net

    The idea behind it is that when the user clicks on the slide, he can add elements specified in the macro list

    Thanks

  • Hi Leroy,

    The ActiveWindow.Selection is the current selection point. Hopefully the code sample below will give you ideas for how you can use it for your application.

    Sub WhatSlideWhatSlide()
        Dim sld As Slide
        If ActiveWindow.Selection.type = ppSelectionText Then
            ActiveWindow.Selection.TextRange.Text = "Hello"
        End If
    End Sub
