Is there a option or way to enable “Date Picker” for users to enter in Excel Survey Form? RRS feed

  • Hi,

In advance, sorry if I misunderstand your question.

[DateTimePicker] is not shown in default.  We need to add a control [Microsoft Date and Time Picker Control].
    To do this,
    1) in ribbon menu, [Developer] > [Insert] > ActiveX Controls > click tool icon

    2) in [More Controls] select [Microsoft Date and Time Picker Control ...] > [OK]

  • If you are sending an Excel file for users to complete you cannot be sure they will have the DatePicker installed, and even if it is you'd need VBA and an xlsm or xlsb which would also mean your users would need macros enabled.

If you try what I suggested in reply to your earlier question about survey forms you will see it's easy to ask users for a date which they can select from a date picker.
