Create new slide in powerpoint via add-in RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I'm would like to create an powerpoint add-in to create a new slide within a working ppt-document.

I understood and successfully implemented functions to adjust/fill a selected area with e.g. text but couldn't find an option to create a new + pre-filled slide.

Is this possible at all with the office.js library.

If Yes, it would help me a lot if you could point me to the right direction.

    Thanks

According to your description, I think that this is impossible with Office.js library.

Right now the Office extensibility team has been investing heavily in Excel and Word JavaScript APIs, the PowerPoint API is not available.

So I suggest that you could submit any feedback to Office Dev UserVoice:

    Thanks for your understanding.
