  • What have you done to debug this?  Is your audio driver loading?  Does it get called?   Does it do anything?  Do you hear any sounds when the system boots?  Is there any debug output?

    Partap, with so the vast amount of information you provided, what do you really expect as a response?

  • Hello Friends,

    @Bruce Eitman Sir,

    I cannot build it in debug mode as the image size is more than the configured config.bib nk entry and of RAM size constraints.

    @Vinoth,

    We have WM8974 audio codic driver and corresponding .ll is generating after building the image in release build mode.

    And apart from these, I have selected

    • Audio_I2S_MCASP
    • BSP_CODEC_IS_MASTER
    • SYSGEN_MUSIC_PLAYER
    • SYSGEN_DSHOW_WMP
    • SYSGEN_ATRAMAV

     and remaining dependencies will automatically included with the mentioned selection

  • I guess in that case you can try by adding COMPILE_DEBUG to your sources file of the DLL. If the build succeeds then you can have that module in DEBUG Mode.

    Check for the HW signals whether the clocks are coming properly or not. Check if all the routing paths are powered or not and then increased the volume settings in the HW Codec and System properties.

  • you can probe the audio output signals, codec power on reset sequence etc.. Also you download 1 KHz sine wave files for your testing.

    http://www.rme-audio.de/old/english/download/audtest.htm

    this will generate clear sine wave for your testing.

    No, you were telling is what you had not done.  Hard to help because you have told us little about what you have actually done.
