  • Hello

Could you please check the build number with SharePoint PowerShell? If the number shows 15.0.4797.1001, it means CU-Feb 2016 is installed your server.

  • In addition, please re-configure SP after installing CU Patch.

    Best Regards

  • That isn't always an issue/problem. By design SharePoint will sometimes leave the Configuration DB or Farm build number unmodified.

Also why are you installing CUs?

  • Hi ronan22,

Which CU have you installed? If you install CU after sp1, you need to first install sp1.

    Couple of things to check:

    1. Navigate to CA->system Settings->Manage servers in this farm->Check whether the Configuration database version is updated.
    2. check from central admin > Upgrade and migration > Check product and patch installation status-> make sure your cu over here as installed.
    3. Also Make sure that you ran the PSconfig wizard on all server in the farm.
    4. Restart the server and compare the results.

    Best Regards,

  • SharePoint Build number will be changed only when a CU perform the Schema Update on the configuration DB. But it is not necessary that every CU updates the Build Number. You have to make sure that you CU should be listed in the installed patch list. You can check it central admin > Upgrade and migration > Check product and patch installation status. Look for the KB number of CU

BTW, which CU you are Applying and What number you are expecting?

  • Hi,

Before installing February 9, 2016, cumulative update for SharePoint Server 2013, you must have Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 Service Pack 1 installed.

Do not just run PSconfig wizard, try to run SharePoint 2013 Products Configuration Wizard.

    https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/stefan_gossner/2015/08/20/why-i-prefer-psconfigui-exe-over-psconfig-exe/

Besides, Please offer a screenshot about running (Get-SPFarm).BuildVersion PowerShell:

If It shows 15.0.4797.1001,  then it updated successfully.

    Best Regards,
