  • Dear Das Texan,

Thank you for posting in the MSDN forum.

It looks like the Visual C++2012 redistributable (x64)- 11.0.60610 installed failure, I need your help to collect the installation logs and it will help us to analysis the cause of this error. Please use http://aka.ms/vscollect to gather the installation logs. After using it, you will find vslogs.cab from %temp% folder. Please upload the file and the screenshot to https://skydrive.live.com/ and share the link here.

According to the reminder message, please restart your computer firstly. Meanwhile, you can go to Control PanelàPrograms and Features and right click the Visual Studio 2015 item, choose “Change”— “Repair”. Or directly download the Visual C ++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145 then use it to install. If you do not need to use the Visual C ++ in the future, you can just ignore it, it does not affect other features.

Hope it will work for you and looking forward your update.

    Thanks and best regards,

    Sara

  • Hi,

If you will write code with Visual C++, download and install Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015.
Otherwise, you don't have to install it.

    Regards.
