SharePoint Boost web parts on internal/external farm? RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are testing the SharePoint Boost Password Change software currently in Demo mode.  We have a MOSS 2007 farm, with a Site Collection accessible on internal and external servers.  Internal users authenticate against an internal AD domain using Pass-through authentication, and external users use Forms based Authentication against a separate AD domain.   We want to use this software to let our external users change their passwords, and also get warnings on Passwords that are about to expire.  We wont be using your software for internal users.  Can we just install this software on one server (external web server) or do we need to install it on both Web servers?

  • Moving to General. This isn't programming.

Warning: The SharePoint Boost people are notorious spammers and it is therefore not recommended to use their software unless you can find no other alternative.

By the way, this seems to be a question for the SharePoint Boost people. You should send it to their support people instead of here. That would give you an idea as to whether their support people are equally annoying as their marketing people.
