Ribbon Not Loading

Question
-
Hi -
I have one user here who can't get ribbon to load in Internet Explorer. When the user clicks on Library Tools > Documents, the browser keeps waiting for a response, but the ribbon never loads. It appears to work fine in Firefox. I did notice a javascript error on the bottom of IE with the following details below. I've checked the users browser settings and everything appears to be ok. any ideas what else i can check? thanks
EDIT: I did find the following two threads to be useful and will give this a shot and see how it goes.

We actually reset the users IIS settings back to default as mentioned in link below and everything appeared to work.

Hi SR_1,
Thanks for your post.
As i understand, the "Documents" ribbon control doesn't work for you, am i right?
1. are there some customizations in the page?
2. What about other document library?
3. Have you tried to change other account and test?

Hi,
I have had this issue on my workstation and renaming the user profile on the local machine has fixed the issue.
