SharePoint 2010 not recognizing user e-mail from Exchange 2010

Question

I'm not sure this question is a Sharepoint or Exchange problem.
I've been encountering a problem that I do not know how to troubleshoot. :( I'm sure my user has e-mail account on the Exchange 2010. However in SharePoint, it says my user does not have an e-mail address. I deleted a user and recreated the user and still the same problem. SharePoint just does not see that my user on Exchange already has an e-mail address. :(
I hope I have done what I could to explain.

Hi Bryan,
In SharePoint, if you go to Monitoring > Review Job Definitions and find the "User Profile Service Application - User Profile to SharePoint Full Synchronization" it should show the last time the profiles sync'ed. If it hasn't been since the updates you made in AD, you can "run now", this should update the profile for your user that is missing the email address.

Hi, I done that but still not working. Erm, I suspect it has something to do with my Active Directory? Erm I see some users who log into SP2010 with a domain infront (e.g. domain\username) while some are without the domain (e.g. \username alone). Any idea why?
