Adding Certification Notes causes error RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am attempting to submit an app via my corporate account, but after I enter in text (credential info) in the Certification notes text area under More XAP options and click Save, the page displays the following error:

    Can't show info

Something happened while we tried to get the page you're looking for. Try again.

Returning to the Upload and describe your XAP page, I see that the text I entered into Certification notes was not saved.  Note that the page saves successfully when I do not have text in the Certification notes text area.

Are there specific characters (colon, dashes, etc) that must be avoided in the Certification notes section, or is broken right now?   Alternatively, is there a way to submit without this information and then supply it after the fact?

    Thanks!

If you can confirm the behavior with other browsers and after updating your Silverlight plugin, I suggest you go ahead and contact support. Please mention my name in the notes of the support request so we can get this taken care of and get you going with your submission.

    Thanks!

  • Hi Danny,

Yes, I'm still blocked with this, so I will contact support.  I repaved my two machines this weekend (both running Win8 Enterprise RTM as before), and tested this with both IE10 and Chrome 22.

    SL plugin reports:

    Thanks,
    Nino
