dataset in visual studio 2005, RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

    I wonder why when I create a dataset in visual studio 2005, I don't see any dataset.designer.cs ...

Is this file hidden? Is there a special option in visual studio 2005 regarding this?

Any help would be great! Thanks in advance,

    Idel

  • Look at the Properties for your .xsd DataSet (right-click, choose Properties). There should be an entry in the CustomTool property that is MSDataSetGenerator. If it's not there, just copy/paste this in that property, make a change to your DataSet and save it ... your Typed DataSet (the .designer.cs file) should then be generated.
