Consume Adapter Service on a view gives an error RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I want to use the sqlAdapter to connect to a database view and create a schema of it.
I can connect to the database and see all the stored procedure, tables ect. But when i click on view i get the next error:

What does this error mean and what can i do to fix it?

  • 0x1F is the '?'.

Is that character used anywhere on the object, SP, Table, you're trying to generate for?

  • It has to be on a few because i can select SP and tables without problems. The error pops up when i click on Views. I have checked the list of views but there isnt a few that contains a "?" in the name.

I did find a few with a "%" character in it.

  • Hi Ronald,

Is there any view with Operation Name" Browse "

You are getting error while generating response schema for the view .

please check the return statement in the view and  it will resolve your issue.

  • Hi Abhishek,

That will be problematic because there are more then 100 views.

When i test it on a different database i dont get the error when i select views. So it has to do with the components in the database/views/objects.
