Can some one guide me in configuring SharePoint 2013 on premises server to connect to the AZURE RMS Connectors.
I heard that Microsoft has provided an RMS connector to help you to use Azure RMS on your On Premises systems, I need step by steps to get it done.

Yes,the Microsoft Rights Management (RMS) connector lets you quickly enable existing on-premises servers, such as Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint, or file servers running Windows Server to use their Information Rights Management (IRM) functionality with the cloud-based Microsoft Rights Management services. With this functionality, IT and users can easily protect documents and pictures both inside your organization and outside, without having to install additional infrastructure or establish trust relationships with other organizations.
The RMS connector is a small-footprint service that you install on-premises on servers that run Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, or Windows Server 2008 R2. After you install and configure the connector, it acts as a communications interface between the on-premises IRM-enabled servers and the cloud service.
The RMS connector supports the following products:
- Exchange Server 2013
- Exchange Server 2010
- Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2013
- Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010
- File servers that run Windows Server 2012 R2 or Windows Server 2012 and use File Classification Infrastructure to classify and apply policies to documents in a folder
For deploying Azure RMS connector on your On Premises systems, you can refer to the steps:
- Enable Azure RMS (either on your Office 365 tenant or if you don’t have Office 365 on your Azure tenant),
- Implement (if not done yet) directory synchronization with Azure Active Directory Services (you know, the well know DirSync for Office 365 or the new tool AAD Connect – see http://blog.hametbenoit.info/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=631)
- Optionally but recommended (also if not yet done) implement federation using ADFS
- And finally install the connector and configure your On Premises systems to use Azure RMS (SharePoint, Exchange or file shares)

1)Enable Azure RMS (either on your Office 365 tenant or if you don’t have Office 365 on your Azure tenant), - Ram : I neither have both. ( I don't have azure tenant, how do I get this ,please explain me)
2)Implement (if not done yet) directory synchronization with Azure Active Directory Services (you know, the well know DirSync for Office 365 or the new tool AAD Connect
Ram : I know user prorfile sync and configuration. but not aware of azure active directory sync, what is this and how I need to setup ..Being on premise customer, I am eligible for all these?
3)Optionally but recommended (also if not yet done) implement federation using ADFS : Ram : Where I have to install ADFS , in my AD domain or customer domain?
4)And finally install the connector and configure your On Premises systems to use Azure RMS (SharePoint, Exchange or file shares) Ram : while installing connector, it is asking for admin credentials of azure or office 365, which I don't have. can you please tell me how I can get this achieved.
