Getting latitude and longitude from windows mobile browser RRS feed

  • Hi 

      How do i get latitude and longitude from windows mobile browser without using any external GPS support system ?

      Does anybody know that solution?

  • There are ways you can triangulate the location of the cell phone without GPS. The location is pinpointed by the locations of the cell phone towers (or Wifi hotspots) that serve you. This method is called triangulation. It has much lower accuracy than GPS. 
     
    However you cannot expect to use this method from a web application. Imagine how terrible it is when you open a web page and then it knows where you are.

    If you are not proposing to use an external GPS, where are you expecting the co-ordinates to be derived from?
