Can't create an MVC project in VS2013 Pro RRS feed

I have Visual Studio 2013 Professional, running on Windows 7 SP1

I can't create an MVC project, it bombs out with a message:

"The system cannot find the file specifies. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070002)

     Any idea what's wrong?

    Hi lennieh

"The system cannot find the file specifies. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070002)

For this issue, you could have a try

    To repair Visual Studio

    1. In Control Panel, on the Programs and Features page, choose the product edition that you want to repair, and then choose Uninstall/Change.

    2. In the Setup wizard, choose Repair, choose Next, and then follow the remaining instructions.

If it still has same issue, please don’t hesitate to let me know。

    Regards

You should check error details in Visual Studio log file.

    %APPDATA%\Roaming\Microsoft\VisualStudio\

I don't see a log file in that directory. I get a *.winprf file created but can't see anything in there that helps....

I have this working on my Windows 8.1 PC at home, but not on my work PC. Maybe there is something wonky with the way the work PC is set up...
