SQL Server 2008 and COM+ connection problem RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a classic ASP app that uses COM+ for the database calls.  This works when the database is SQL Server 2005.  When I change my ODBC connection to point to a SQL Server 2008 database, I get an invalid procedure call at the point in the COM code where it is logging in.  I broke this down in a simple VB 6 test app and was able to verify that the problem happens when attempting to log in.

Is there some sort of extra configuration in the database that has to be done when using 2008 and COM+?  Grasping at straws.  Many thanks for any help.

If it is not helped, could you please post your code?

    Hope this helps.
