Win32_Process and WMI Interacting with Remote Process. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello and I know there is no way to interact with a process that starts remotely using Win32_Process and WMI, but was wondering is there any trick or a way to get around this? I can create the process see it in TASK, but I really need to see the application I am starting for a user can interact with it as it is remotely started. is there a way? Thanks

  • I dont think that is possible with wmi.  Maybe using CreateProcessAsUser or createprocesswithlogonW?

There is also this command line app called psexec you can use too.  The -i option is used to specify the session.  I have never used before but this seems really simple.
