  • Hi,

    CLR is implemented in mscoree.dll.

exe file of managed application contains entry point call to this dll.

CLR is launched within process of application. Therefore each .NET application process contains copy of CLR.

You can check if CLR is loaded within process. But why do you need to check if it is running at machine?
