save as pdf page setup

Question

Is there a way to set the page setup properties for the "save as PDF" file? I get 6 pages but want it scaled to a single page, lanscape orientation. The print page setup does not seem to affect the "save as PDF" file.Tuesday, September 21, 2010 10:57 PM

Project doesn't support the Page Setup Scaling options when Saving to a PDF.
Thanks,

What version of MS Project are you using?? MSP 2010 has a save as .pdf option which is not available in earlier versions. If you are using 2010, you will get more control over what you are printing using the print to .pdf than you will with the save to .pdf. Set up the print preview to look like the result you want and then print to the .pdf.

The way I do it is to creatre multiple Views. Print formatting info is saved with the view. So, I have Gant Chart - A4, Gant Chart - A3, Gant Chart - PDF and so on. Just select teh appropriate View then print (or save). Remember to swap back to a working View afterwards. This method saves lots of formatting and re-formatting.

An alternative would be to install a PDF printer, such as CutePDF
