  • Hi,

    Welcome to the MSDN forum.

It is a complex process. It is hard to explain clearly in short words. In general, .NET managed assembly contains IL code and metedata. At runtime, CLR would try to convert IL to native CPU instructions using JIT compiler then execute it.

You can read a book names <CLR via C# third Edition>.

    Have a nice day.
