Task scheduler on Windows Server 2008 - Problems with $$ as paramter RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

i have a problem with $$ as parameter.

I created tasks to start a programm/script with the following two parameters:
    zeus $$579$

The programm/script just receives the following:
    zeus $579$

Two $$ are always cutted to one $.

    Thanks in advance

  • Hi Timo

Could you please give some information on :

What is the program/ script you are trying to run through the task scheduler?

What exactly is the expected behaviour of the Program?

  • Hello,

it does`t matter which software i run. Ok but if you want an example hier is one:

    I have got a networkshare with \\servername\exampleshare$$

Now i want to start a batchfile with the following content:
    net use k: %1

If you start the task now, you will see that batch only receives \\servername\exampleshare$

    This is just an example!!

    Best regards

  • Hi,

this is basic question, because we use different scripts or batchfiles with $$.

    Any suggestions?
